Happy New Year!
Bring in the year 2021 in a big way! Spend one week exploring the fast-paced, modern Middle Eastern city of Dubai. From the heights of Burj Khalifa to the dunes of the desert, you’ll cover the entire city and have a New Year celebration you’ll never forget.
Today you arrive in Dubai! Take time to get settled into your hotel, wander around if you wish, and prepare to meet all of your group mates that evening at the Welcome Dinner.
Wake up early to depart on a full day tour of the city. You will learn about the creation and history of Dubai and go to the top of the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa. Afterwards, prepare to get (pleasantly!) lost in the second largest mall in the world, the Dubai Mall.
Today we will travel through the desert to Abu Dhabi to visit the largest mosque in the country, the Sheikh Zayed Mosque. There we will learn about this history of the mosque and learn about Islam, the country’s national religion. After our tour, we will head back to Dubai where you are free to spend the day as you wish.
Get ready to head out to the desert! On this day you’ll be wisked away from the city to the openness of the desert to embark on a day of fun and adventure. You’ll start off by conquering giant sand dunes on quads. Take advantage of this totally scenic (and Instagramable!) photo op. Then you’ll head deeper into the desert for a beautiful camel ride into the sunset. After the sun has set, you’ll go to a desert camp where you’ll be served dinner and treated to beautiful performances under the Arabian sky.
Happy New Year’s Eve! Take this day to sleep in if you wish. You’ll need your rest to bring in the New Year later tonight. Around midday, the party will begin on a private yacht cruise around the Dubai Marina. That evening, get dressed for a night of fireworks and fun as we bring in the New Year!
Use this final day to soak up the last bits of Dubai. If you choose to partake in additional excursions, I will have arranged those for you to do on this day. Today is the day to do the last bit of exploring and shopping on your own. In the evening, rejoin your fellow group members for one last meal together during our Farewell Dinner.
Depart for the airport and say one last goodbye to Dubai and your group mates.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
You may opt to get vaccinations. The CDC recommends that travelers to Dubai receive Hepatitis A and Typhoid vaccines, especially if they plan on being adventurous eaters. While these are recommended, they are not mandatory.
You will be required to buy travel health insurance. While we don’t anticipate having to use it, in the case of illness or injury, health insurance to cover the cost of your hospital or clinic visit will be needed. Some of the insurance offered by airlines when you buy your plane tickets will include a health insurance component. If this is the case, this insurance will suffice. The cost of international health insurance averages around $15.
YOUR DEPOSIT SECURES YOUR SPOT.
A nonrefundable deposit of $300 reserves your trip to Dubai.
YOU MAY CHOOSE TO PAY IN FULL OR PARTICIPATE IN A PAYMENT PLAN.
Monthly payments are due on the 15th of each month, with the last payment due on the 15th of the month before the trip. Payments will be calculated from the date of the payment of the deposit. All payments are nonrefundable.
